In what I think was a hilarious sideshow, the mechanics of the top ten riders were challenged to see who could change a rear tire the quickest and then run the bike down the starting line for the win. Davi Milsaps mechanic Carlos took home the honors and that gave Davi one more point to add to his total.

This kid is fast, blazing fast. The second night he had a horrible start and challenged for first at the last corner coming up about ten feed short of the win. If there wasn’t that new rule about age, he would be a contender very soon!

The US Open Pits are very small in contrast to the normal SX races, and with the exception of the big boys, the rest of the guys literally are inside the first floor of the parking structure.
